Your neighbors are sure to be jealous of your good taste and financial status, so you'll want to proceed with caution! You don't want to be TOO flashy, after all. Try growing your weeds extra tall so that they can't see that you've also got more car parts in your front yard than they do! Move some o'them rusty ol' refrigerators from the front porch to the back yard! They may still try to sabotage your sprawling aluminum palace out of spite, so you will need to invest in a good security system! Try about 14 snarling, stinky, rabid Rottweilers!

Move for the right reasons. It's possible you have lived in moderate to poor conditions when you were younger, and that's why you feel some guilt in 'moving-up.' I'm not sure....just guessing. This can make you feel like you don't deserve moving up...even if you do deserve it. If you are living within your means and aren't strapping your budget, then more power to you. As long as you can afford the roof over your head, food, utilities, bills, transportation and any other necessities.
If you can responsibly and honestly say you can 'afford' it, without being a financial or social burden, then you deserve it.
Don't make the mistake of working yourself to death, just to upgrade. Upgrade when it's right for you and your budget.
It's possible your feelings of arrogance comes from a past situation. Look at your situation now, then decide whether you are haughty and arrogant or not.
Make it a 'home' not just a 'house', then everyone will be welcome. I think you will find most people will be happy for you.

Why would you feel haughty or arrogant about improving your living space? If you start to feel like that, just remember... many people think of any manufactured home Whether single, double, or triple wide as just a fancy trailer. And of the people who live there as trailer trash... That should bring you back down to your usual humble self.

easy...ask yourself "humbly" am i doing this because i want to show off my monatary status or am i simply doing it because
1). i am fortunate enough i can afford to
2). more space in my life would be so welcome
3). i care to much about what others think and NEED to try and impress the neighbors.
Bottom line is:
1). maybe youll impress others more.. by impressing "yourself" first. You should feel proud of the fact that you can upgrade!
Now acting arrogant about being all that and a bag of chips is a good way of impressing noone.
who cares anyhow...are the neighbors going to be living in it too? if thats what you want to really do...by all means do it.!
