Try pouring several gallons of boiling water down your drain. Kitchen sinks usually clog up with grease so the super hot water will help to dissolve the grease. I would pour some Dawn or other grease busting dish detergent down in the drain first and then boil the water on your stove. Pour the water directly into the drain and continue this effort until the clog goes away.

Cathy S has it right. After the water has drained out, move out all of the junk out from under your sink, get a good pipe wrench and remove the P trap (U shaped fitting). Some even have a small nut you can remove to get out debris. Take out the P trap, and see if it is clogged up. Popsicle sticks go down drains easily, I have found, but can't manuever the bends, and they and other non-soluble debris catch the other gunk.
Anyone with a wrench can remove a P trap, and since it is where most of the drainage problems occur, you can save a lot of money fixing fixable things yourself.
If the P trap is clear, and the pipe going on out the wall is also clear, your blockage is farther down--you might try snaking it while you have the trap off.

If it drains, but drains slow its more than likely the drain vent. Go outside and look for a pipe coming out of the roof above the sink. If you can go on the roof SAFELY run you snake down the vent pipe. Fill the sink with water first, as you run the snake down the vent you may hear the water go out. Its a great sound to hear the plugged drain go swoosh.

My husband has been a plumber for 31 years and he recommends that you call a professional drain service company such as Roto-Rooter or a plumbing company. It is possible you are not able to snake all the way to the main because the snake is not long enough. It may also be a blocked vent. His opinion on drain cleaner is not to use it, it can ruin pipes. If it is a plugged vent, the drain cleaner will have no affect on it.

in the beginning you may attempt eliminating the U-catch under the sink, and notice if the clog is there. you will choose a solid pipe wrench or Channel Lock pliers to break the nuts loose. once you get it off, you will maximum in all threat could substitute the seals, as they're maximum in all threat previous and dry now, those are low-fee, and maximum hardware shops carry them. in basic terms take the previous ones, down and that they are going to tutor you have been the hot ones are placed. even although, earlier you do all that artwork, I advise you purchase a rest room plunger or the sink plunger, additionally available at any complicated ware keep, or maybe in some Drug shops and additionally are much less costly. replenish the sink, approximately 0.5 way, and use the potential of the plunger, some cases, and with a bit of luck, you will dislodge what's plugging up the sink. it may take some tries, yet with what you have performed already, it is going to do the trick for you.

I've done this in a pinch when I've been broke and no other way. Get a garden hose, another guy. Take the line to the outside apart and put the hose in it, pack the hose in it real tight. Pack rags around it then while you hold it have another guy turn the water on and you keep your eye on it. If your lucky you'll hear it gush with power then the ease of the hose. have him turn it off.
Hope it works for you Pal.

DO YOU HAVE A SINGLE OR DOUBLE? FOR SINGLE FILL SINK WITH HOT WATER TO THE TOP, AND THEN PULL THE PLUG . IF YOU HAVE A DOUBLE SINK FILL THE SIDE WITH THE DISPOSAL SIDE WITH HOT WATER ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP AND PUT STOPPER IN BOTH SINKS, PULL PLUG ON DISPOSAL SIDE WHILE HOLDING STOPPER OR PLUG WITH OTHER HAND TO KEEP WATER FROM FILLING UP ON THE OTHER SIDE INSTEAD OF TAKING THE WATER DOWN THE DRAIN. YOU MIGHT NEED TO REPEAT THIS SEVERAL TIMES. GOOD LUCK PLUMERS ARE COSTLY.
