What can I safely use to clean marble and sandstone headstones at the cemetary? I do not want to scratch or damage the stone?
Also, is there a special polish I can use to help restore the headstones to their original luster?

My sisters and I went to a cemetary where our old kinfolks were buried and some of the stones(concrete mostly) were unreadable. We got some bleach and mixed with about 1/3 water and a soft brush and it cleaned them right up.

Appliance polish works great on marble.
