My furnace does put out the correct amount of heat. The problem I am having is that the flame goes out before it is supposed to, and a click will sound (Igniting the flame again). Sometimes it will do this many times per hour. Sometimes you will get 5-10 clicks in succession with the flame coming on and off.

The only thing I have done within the year is change to an electronic thermostat which is programmable. Should I change this? Can a faulty connection cause this? I did go into the thermostat and tighten everything and making sure there was contact. How about the thermocouple? Can the thermocouple cause this symptom? It is more of a nuissance. I still get heat, but I know there is some sort of problem.

I do change the filter frequently. So it is not a dirty filter.

Thanks -

I'm in the process of removing a metal roof from a lower roof of a 2 story building. The metel bends and is nailed up under the old aluminum siding, and I was wondering if it is possible to remove say the bottom two rows of siding to work on the roof and then replace them?

I would prefer to be able to replace them with the same siding I take off instead of having to buy new ones. Any ideas?
