One is a celery dish with a flower pattern in silver. One is a 12" plate with an intricate design in silver. I cleaned the silver with silver polish and it shined right up.

Is it older? Did you get it from a yard sale or thrift shop? Estate sale?

Does it have a signature stamp on the bottom by the maker or artist? Look all around the edges too...you may see some kind of mark-they can be as big as a quarter in the middle of the dish, or on the underside of the lip, small like a a couple mm's.

If it doesn't have a stamp or marking, it may be something that is just mass maunfactured and sold in someplace like a department store of any kind.

Take any information you have and plug it in google...Ive taken markings from a peice, with a quick description, like "glass plate, silver flowers, (then the numbers or names associated with it)". You may get some results. If not, just enjoy your peices, they sound nice.
