I just recently bought my own tank. Because the place I was with Americrap* was charging $1.92 a gallon. With my own tank I pay $1.39 and I can shop around now.

Boy I would like to live where you are getting that kind of price. I am currently in Maine and the lowest price I could get was1.89 In my house in Michigan that going price is 1.76 You ae getting a great deal. Wich I were you and could find that price.

A 20 pound tank of propane was $14 - i do not know how many gallons are in a pound. Go to an RV supply store and drag your tank there for filling. I do think it must be a lot cheaper than you are getting.

Here in MI I just paid 1.89 . One time I checked out owning my own tank but many suppliers claimed they would not fill it. Others told me the tank had to be inspected before they would fill it. and the savings wasn't much.

not exactly sure, we haven't bought our winter supply yet. i have heard that it is around $2.00 a gallon
