My room mate recently spilled some vodka on the carpet and we were wondering what could be used to get rid of the smell. We used some air freshener but we believe that is only temporary. Thanks in advance.

hi.

now the temperature has dropped, I was looking for my sheepskin
slippers. I finally found them under my bed. I have left them there
the whole spring and summer.

when i put my feet into them, they don't feel soft and furry like
before. it feels there's sand in them. except i have never
taken them to the beach of course! (who would?!)

as i closely examined the inside of my slippers,
it seems the lining of the slippers has ben "eaten"
there's also seems to be powdery granules inside the slippers
(which feels like sand granules).

is anyone familiar with this "problem"?
Who's eating my sheep skin slippers?

and how do i prevent or debug my apartment?

thank you

My neighbors pine needles are dropping into my yard, I throw them back in piles across his fence, but he states that is illegal dumping, and he will take me to court. Any thoughts?

My husband (an electrician) fixed it. Two days later we found water all around and under our refridgerator, the little beast chewed through the hose and water leaked out all over the place. Now something smells like garbage, it is disgusting. It's coming from the back/insides of the refridgerator. Could have something leaked inside from the freezer when everything thawed out? Please help!

I live in Redding CA. This June, planted 14 citrus trees in oak barrels using potting soil. Have fed them with citrus food. But they just are not a healthy green.

I'm using a Lincoln MIG welder...how do you know when you run out of gas? Both dials on the tank stay down - I can't seem to put pressure on the line, could the tank be empty?

When I lived in New York, the roaches I saw at work were tiny in comparison to the ones I've seen here in Arkansas. I'm seeing bugs that are 3 to 4 inches long, large enough to throw a saddle on, and take for a ride! The ones I've seen in NY were only 1/2 to 1" long. My friend says they are called wood roaches...different than the cockroach kind.Is this true or is she pulling my leg?

My mother says they came from detergent boxes, maybe Duz, but I'm not certain. They are sort of shiny, medium green glazed with undefind white rims around the edges of each piece. Actually they look more like pottery. Does anyone have info on these items i.e. manufacturer, value, etc.?
