My mother says they came from detergent boxes, maybe Duz, but I'm not certain. They are sort of shiny, medium green glazed with undefind white rims around the edges of each piece. Actually they look more like pottery. Does anyone have info on these items i.e. manufacturer, value, etc.?

With something like that it is best to find an antique dealer that would be willing to give you a possible value and a little history too.Don't let them get them from you though as they might be valuable-getting the top dollar price would best come from a collector.I'm not saying you want to sell them but whether you put insurance on them, keep them for sentimental reasons or pass them on to your children you need to know what you have.
Congratulations!!!

My Mom has a collection of green dishes, very rare, I do know that. You can go to your local library and get books on antique dishes. It will show you pictures. Maybe you can identify yours. If not, I would look in your local phone book for and antique dealer/appraiser.
