yeah but they look better if you go to the shoe store and get the cleaner with the brush attatched for like 5 bucks .Put them in the bathtub and put your hand inside the shoe so the inside stays dry and scrub with the foam and brush come off fast and shinny white.

I just washed a pair of Etnies and they look brand new First I pre-sprayed with a product called Awesome using a small brush (manicure brush) scrubbed the rubber on the bottom sides dirt completely comes of with Awesome really tough spots spray and let set in 10-15 minutes now you wash in cool water first you can place each shoe inside of a old white(CLEAN) sock this prevents shoes from scuff marks due to agitating during the wash cycle, also use wash cycle twice. You can even dry on a med-low setting. Place shoes in a dryer bag parallel to dryer door (flat like walking on a wall)the bottoms of shoe are the only part of shoe that can touch the dryer door let bag hang outside of dryer when the door is closed so shoes remain stationary, make sure shoes are centered on the door so any of the sides aren't touching shoes, so you don't overheat and leave marks or indentations. You can secure the bag on the outside with a rubber band or tie a knot. You can also pre-spot any other stains on shoes with Awesome. This is the remedy for white shoes only!!!!!

I wash leather & cloth sneakers all the time with great results. Then I put them by a air cleaner I have in the house and they dry quite fast. No air cleaner....will take at least a day or so to dry. Do not put them in a dryer. The first time I decided my white tennis shoes looked too bad to wear anymore I decided it was either throw them out or throw them in the washing machine. If I wrecked them nothing lost because I was going to have to throw them away anyhow. They came out looking like new. In time the leather ones will start looking a little funny but it takes several washings before that happens. If they are white sneakers I throw them in with a load of white clothes, shoe laces and all.

Yep, sure is. Take the laces out first! If you want, you can use Shout or Spray 'N Wash on any stains, then just toss 'em in there with a few towels. You can wash the laces, too.

Yeah you can do that. Take out the laces first because they can possibly get entangled in things in washer. I do it a lot with my and the kids shoes often. Let them air dry, no dryer. But don't be dumb like I was and put them outside so a black widow could crawl in.....eeeeewwww.

I agree with using the dishwasher, but use a little soap and scrub off the marks with a rag first, and they will almost look new. Of course, don't get leather wet at all, if that's the case, get a good leather cleaner.

I have in the past, sure... I mean that's the best way to get them clean. The only thing is, they might shrink and look weird afterwards, and you'll have to break them in again.

Sure, just make sure that you put newspaper or something similar in them as soon as they are finished. Really back it in there. Don't put them in the Dryer though!
