let it dry, scrape at it, vacuum it, and then use reslove stain remover in a can, not carpet cleaner. if that dont work trim away what you can...goof off is SUPER strong ( and smelly) stuff so be careful if you use it...it is a miracle solution but be wary if you have pets that are going to be on the rug or kids on the rug and if you use goofoff definitley test an area!!!

Considering what it's made of, you might try rubbing alcohol to dissolve it again. There used to be a product that cleaned white out from clothes and carpets, etc., but I don't know if it is still on the market.

Try a product called goof off That will remove it.
ask for it at your hardware store.
