You might also want to see if there is a saw mill in your area. We have a saw mill in our area and when cutting up the trees, the scrap go into a big pile and they sell it if you load your truck yourself a full truckload of wood for $25.00 bucks... Not a bad deal at all

Depends on where you live and what kind of wood it is. In Oregon where I live, a cord of black pine (most common) is $65 to $75 a cord. Harder wood like tamarack or locust which burns longer and cleaner is $100 to $125 a cord. Price will also depend on whether the wood is split and if you want it stacked for you or just dumped in your driveway.

The best price is free - we usually find a way to get a free cord every year - someone cutting down a tree or something - also check out www.freecycle.org gotten some wood free from there

Next best price $65 - we had to load on the truck and take home and unload

Depends on where you live, of course. I get a cord of oak wood for $65. Good luck

Depends a lot on where you live, and depends if it's a "face" cord or a "bush" cord.

Here in Ontario, the average cost of a face cord is $70.00.
