hi.

now the temperature has dropped, I was looking for my sheepskin
slippers. I finally found them under my bed. I have left them there
the whole spring and summer.

when i put my feet into them, they don't feel soft and furry like
before. it feels there's sand in them. except i have never
taken them to the beach of course! (who would?!)

as i closely examined the inside of my slippers,
it seems the lining of the slippers has ben "eaten"
there's also seems to be powdery granules inside the slippers
(which feels like sand granules).

is anyone familiar with this "problem"?
Who's eating my sheep skin slippers?

and how do i prevent or debug my apartment?

thank you

crickets will eat sheep skin slippers and wool sweaters.
For de bugging, I use Sevins Dust. Store your slippers in a plastic container with a tight fitting lid for summer or even a ziploc bag. Toss in a couple of cloves to help keep the bugs away.

you have evil sheep skin slipper spirits haunting you and eating your slippers. you must go to the gypsy and have her take off the curse

Could it be something as simple as moths? I've never had moths but I know they eat holes in stuff. OR, I wonder if it was a mouse?

Hmmm, termites? spiders? Try some indoor spider spray around the perimiter of your bedroom.
