I would like to move the position of my stove. To do so (with the circuit off naturally) it seems that I will have to open up the heavy duty outlet. A thick black cord is connected to the 30A outlet. I would like to open the outlet up, dismantle the wiring - reposition the outlet and stove and reconnect the wiring just as it was. Foresee any issues? I am assuming that if I dismantle the inside of the outlet, that I can put it back together in the same way.

Ive been thinking of purchasing a sewing machine to do minor household repairs for awhile. I thought of a used one , but i didnt realize they were as cheap as 80 dollars new. I saw one advertized in the Aldis ad, but i want something i am able to get parts for 20 years down the road, and is going to last. I seen a nice Brother brand one on the Target website, but i also seen a nice Singer. The Brother , and the Singer brands have a 25 year limited warranty while the Aldis one has 2 years.

I just got a pole installed with a 220 amp box and a 30 amp rv plug in. I have to run a 30 amp cord 70-80 feet to hookup to pole. (wanted pole near street). Will i still get good electric service? Can i bury the cord? Will county aloow it. Here 30 inches deep. But ok for a rv cord? Do not want to wire to 220 yet. Because of the long trenching and costly hookup.

I have been trying to grow some herbs in my garden. I am pretty new to gardening . My basil tree, although growing very tall is probably infected by some kinda bugs. I have noticed as the leaves grow bigger they get brown spots and eventually look like as though chewed by some insects. i took the leaves to home depot and they gave me a bug repellent called Sevin. It doesn't seem to work all the time. Is there anything wrong with the soil or climate. I live in Tx.

I just bought a 100% polyester fabric shower curtain. Even though the fabric seems like it might repel water, I'm wondering if I MUST also buy a plastic curtain?

I have a blue spruce that looks healthy, grows bigger branches every year, but does not get taller. It stopped getting taller a few years ago when it was about 12 feet tall. At the top it has a bunch of shoots, but none seam to continue as the main stalk.

I am thinking of decorating my powder room with a spin. :) I am not sure if this will look tacky, or might be able to wing it. My utility cart is wider than this one approx. 3ft x 1ft. And if there is a consensus, then I plan to decorate with candles, towels, magazines, orchid etc. But, can't decide, whether it's a good idea? I haven't painted the walls as yet.
