No. You wouldn't be able to use them afterwards as the string in between each slat would be coated in paint and wouldn't slide through the holes to open and close. Technically I guess you could dissasemble, paint and reassemble. Try feecycle.org and see if anyone is giving away free blinds . . .

It would be really hard to get all the sponts and have it look nice, with no drips etc. Also, if you decide to do this the blind must be very clean with no traces of dirt or dust, or the paint wont stick.

Good luck. Personally....I would just buy a blind in the color you like. With all of the time you will spend, not to mention purchasing paint and cleaners,....you might be financially ahead to replace it.

She's in simple terms taking part in. the two she likes the sound or in simple terms likes batting the cords around. be careful that the would not get twisted up interior the cords and choke or carry close herself. (additionally a risk with youthful toddlers.) maximum new blinds have 2 separate pull cords to circumvent this, yet i don't think that's adequate. I tie knots in the two cords mutually, 2 or 3 inches aside, each of how down so my cats can not by probability get their heads caught between them. it is likewise a physically powerful concept to have a pair hooks to coil the cord around so as that it would not cling in any respect. As for buying her to stop messing with the slats, you will get something at a gardening keep or internet site to chemically repel her, besides the reality that i'm not sure how risk-free it could be for indoor use. Your appropriate guess may be to get her some catnip toys to distract her. My cats' favorites are those sticks made out of brightly patterned cotton fabric, rolled up and sewn with catnip interior. you are able to probable make your own.

I suppose you could but I have never tried it. You would have to sand them down and buy a special aluminum paint.(we repainted some aluminum siding so I know there is special paint you have to buy). The siding looked good when we got it finished. Sounds like a hassle to me! I just wait for them to go on sale and go buy a new ones. Depending on what kind you have you can get them for as little as $5 on sale or clearance.

Call your local Home Depot or Lowes and ask them that question. They could tell you for sure.
