I am looking for home decor items to decorate my entire home and I wanted to know who has better reasonable cheap prices but with good quality. What kind of home decor items do both of these stores have available for someone on a budget.

I think prices are comparable, but TJ's usually has more stuff. Do you have a Home Goods near you? It's a store run by TJ's that sells all stuff for the home,great store! Also, believe it or not some of the coolest home decor stuff is at Target.

NOT TRUE about less popular designers. I have bought Express Jeans and Etienne Aigner shoes at TJ MAXX. They get the left overs of what does not sell well. It's basically an outlet store.

They are both owned by the same company. If no one is buying it in Marshall's they ship it over to TJ Maxx where the price is cut to get it sold. So TJ is always the winner in that competition.

I was at TJ Maxx today. I was looking for a lamp and all I saw was overpriced junk. One lamp fell apart in my hand and they wanted $39.99 for the garbage. It was like a garage sale.
I do like Home Goods. Try a Pottery Barn outlet.

After the stuff is there for a while they lower the price. You just have to hit it right. They are comparable and as you know, owned by hte same company.

They are pretty comparable, but TJ Maxx has nicer home stuff.

Marshall's, the quaility is much better and prices are within reason.
