As a single mom of TWO Disabled children, I was spending at least $750 to $1000 a month on Groceries and this included the human care items you mentioned (paper products, shampoo/conditioner/body soap, diapers (very expensive), baby foods, formula, cleaning supplies, etc.

This was AFTER I used coupons too!

I usually spend about $500 on food alone if not more, its according to if I find any good sales. Especially if you have a teenager, they will eat you out of house and home. Counting everything else I would guess around $700. Diapers are outrageous too. I spend alot every month, not counting bills. Good Luck.

well there is no standard answer for ur ?. u have to take in sales and coupons and whether or not u buy in bulk. it also depends on what store u buy at, some r definately more expensive than others. do a comparisan shop at each of ur stores to see who has the best prices and go from there . good luck.

we spent about 500 a month to start, but have cut it down to about three hundred by not buying ready made stuff, buying in bulk and storing it in the freezer, for example will by round steak and cut up for stir fry, out of two round steaks can make six packages of meat for stir fry, we compare flyers, and by in large qualities.we also buy coffee in bulk on-line and find it thirty percent cheaper then at grocery store. we also make our own lunches and take them to work thus saving even more.
