the Home AC was working fine yesterday, but noticed at noon today it wasn't, thats when I found the A-coil froze over. I shut it off, and let it thaw out, then turned it back on. the outside unit comes on, and you can here the compresser kick in, but only the bottom of the A-coil seems to get as cold as it should

My husband wants to build a home on a lot of land he buys with his bestfriend...temporarily untill it sales(which could mean anything!! 1 year 2 years 8 years) I think the idea of living next door to his best friend is outrageaous. Especially being newlyweds......we don't need a third wheel! Any thoughts. Is that selfish of me?

It appears to be a butterfly larvae, but I'm not sure. It has about 12 legs and I found it when I transplanted my bleeding heart.

I'm having this problem all the time!!!! Now, I can't stand it anymore.. lol.. because.. I had this slippers from Nike... They we're wrong when they put this huge tag (like 2" by 4") on the slippers.. Now, when I removed it, some very sticky remains we're left!!!
I know this happens to everyone, but for my case, It should really be removed because it's really annoying for I wear the slippers everyday!

I need to replace a washer on the shut-off valve inside my property as it is leaking. In order to do this I need to cut off the supply from the mains outside. The shape of the valve I need to turn outside is about 1 inch square, hence I need to know the name of the tool I should use to perform this operation - and if possible where would I get one from.

At our house we have a number of telephones. The other day after it rained we started having problems with our phones. In the background there is a humming sound that makes it difficult to hear. I was wondering if anyone could explain what kinds of things would cause a humming sound. It is there with every phone that we use, no matter were it is plugged in. Thanks you for your help.

I assumed that if something grows wild or otherwise in your own property it is rightfully yours. Some sites say to harvest wild gensing you need to buy a permit yearly. Also why would you want to harvest gensing? Does it serve any purpose?

I want to have a hot tub installed in our not-yet-built deck. I want the hot tub edge flush with the deck surface - ie sunken. I want enough space for 7 - 8 adults and I don't want a noisy system. I can't enjoy the outdoors when I hear motors whirring!
What should I know to choose a good hot tub and to have it installed flush with the deck surface? Thanks in advance for your tips/experiences.

We have finally found a bathtub we like, but the description indicates it is inset. Does this mean that we have to have a large supportive wooden surface or worktop to mount it in that can support the weight of the bath or can it be supported by a frame underneath and then the wooden top (and side) surround can just be for show. Size is a key issue for us and we don't really have the space for a large surround to the bath.
