Also says "Hand Decorated, Detergent Proof, Underglazed" in a circle around the thunderbird. Says "Made in America" just above the Thunderbird and "Oven Proof" just under the thunderbird. They were my grandmothers and I would like more information on them. The pattern on the front of the plates is a circle of blue & green leaves and trees with a blue band around the edge of the plate.

If so, what is the easiest way to root it? I have spearmint growing my garden and, since it is the end of the season and we will not be here for the next one, I was hoping that I could root mint. Help!

I know this sounds kind of skeezy, but honestly I just bought a lot of clothes for school, and I have a couple sweatshirts and the lady at the counter must've forgot to take them off. The alarm didn't go off when I left the store (I don't even know if it has one), but... I need to get those things off, and I don't think I'll have time tomorrow to stop at the mall before I have to drive to college for the year. My dad tried with some random tools to no avail. Anybody know how to remove them? They're the offwhite rectangular ones with the pin connecting it to the shirt, no ink or anything. Thanks

We just bought an older house (65 years) and we discovered in the basement that the metal pipe that drains water from the house has a very small, thin crack that is about 1 ft. long. When the water is turned on in the house, it leaks a little bit of water. We only noticed it because the concrete at the base of the pipe was slightly wet. We are looking to see if anyone can tell us how to fix it so we can take care of it ourselves. Thanks.

After picking off most of it -I tried freezing the two t-shirts but the gum did not really freeze....I then tried grapeseed oil and it came off real easy. I imagine it would work with oily peanut butter as well. I then put dish washing liquid on the patch of oil and worked it into the fabric and machine washed both t-shirts in laundry detergent. They came up spotless. Thanks for all the advice. Couldn't edit my original question to let everyone know so hence this is an answer rather than a question.

I'm really on the fence when it comes to my bedroom. I have a light brown "cup of coa-coa" colored bedroom. A black upholstered leather headboard, wood floors, Pottery Barn Sheets that are white and have espresso stripes around the edges. I think its called grand embroider. And a bed skirt by David Hicks called Axum Stripe. Its has blue, beige, chocolate brown, and a rust color. The oriental rug also has the same colors. I guess its kind of a faux pas to mix black and brown but i feel it looks nice. There's also a pine bookcase with two doors on it, its serves as a place for a flat screen television.

I would like to paint the trim black because I heard it makes the room seem. larger and I think it would look nice. Is this a bad idea?

Picked up five Knock Out rose plants for a $1.00 each from the discard rack at Lowes. They are alive but scraggy and ugly. Can you give me some advice on how to restore them. I considered pruning them all the way back but don't quite know what would be best. I live in Zone 9, South Florida. Thanks to all.

I bought some shirts that are Large thinking it will shrink. Because when I buy Medium t-shirts it usually shrink so small I can't wear them anymore. But with these Large t-shirts I bought, I didn't read the tag that said it was pre-shrunk. So now I'm stuck with large t-shirts. Was wondering if anyone know a way to shrink pre-shrunk t-shirts.
