There are many nice suburbs. We have relatives in Weaverville, which is on the western edge of Asheville. It is still part of greater Asheville, but feels a little more rural. They can hop on the highway and be downtown 10-15 minutes. You'd want to visit and look around, to find something that suits you. Their neighborhood has a covenant banning outdoor clothes lines and pickup trucks.

I just moved to Winston-Salem about a month ago from FL where I was born and raised. I hated it there and I LOVE it here. I am probably an hour from Asheville. I dont know where to recommend but I just wanted to let you know it is so nice in this area and the weather is great, no humidity (that I have noticed yet or maybe since I was in FL where it is like hell the little bit here doesnt bother me) soft grass...all the littel things. Good luck!

acceptable position to stay is only your opinion. there's a reference e book on your community library talked about as places Rated Almanac. that's an outstanding beginning aspect. I personal a duplicate. between Columbia, SC or Asheville, NC, i ought to decide on Asheville. I have lived outdoors Greenville, SC. in case you want warmth and humidity interior the summer season, Columbia is a magnificent position. in direction of the sea. Asheville is interior the mountains. Lakes close by. Cooler than Columbia, yet you receives snow and fewer warm temps interior the iciness.

I actually lived there one night in a motor home. It was on the north west side of town. Try driving around and noticing the people in the neighbor hood.
