Yes, chocolate pudding is not that bad a stain. But you have to bleach the shirt. Also, buy a "pretreating" product like "Shout". Spray the pretreating product directly on the stain and let it sit for a minute or two before you put it in the laundry with bleach.
Your shirt should be fine.

The chocolate is quiet easy to come out actually. It's not worst than a baby's poo. Try all the product that what all the rest of the answers tells you to use. But if it's didn't work, the best stain remover is to put them on the sun, when the sun is really hot. Do it like this... wet the shirt, don't put any thing, just wet it then lay it where the sun is and where the stain is actually heating by the sun and wait till the stain's gone.. That way, you're shirt gets whiter than ever too!

The faster you try to get the stain out, the easier it will be. Do NOT put it through the dryer until the stain is totally gone. If you do, the stain will be set in and be almost impossible to get out.
You could use Oxi-clean, that is a great product and gets lots of greasy stains out. However, my husband calls me the "Stain Queen" because I've gotten almost every stain out over almost 30 years of doing laundry.
The main thing I do is put the item into a sink and turn the hot water on it. Then put some soap on the stain and work it into the fabric with your fingernail. After that, put the item under hot water again. The hottest you have. Repeat this process until the stain is completely gone.
But.. do it as fast as you can. Then put it into the washer using hot water and some oxi-clean.

Mix oxy-clean w/a little hot water to make a paste, rub into stain and let set for half hour or so. Follow by washing w/oxy-clean and warm water.

from experience: SprayNWash Dual Power OR peroxide OR vinegar (depending of length of time stain has been sitting and fabric type). pretreat dry with one of these (30 mintues) and then wash with a concentrated liquid detergent and warm water. never put bleach directly on clothing - over time it will erode and/or fade/yellow depending on the fabric type, white or not.

yes it will come out if you don't dry it in the dryer first. If all other stain products fail, spot clean it with some bleach.
Good luck
