Not a good idea. All those chemicals etc. will build up on the side of your chimney. Then they will catch fire and burn your house down. Throw the damn stuff away. Take it to the dump. Leave it out for the trash to pick up. Anything but burn it in your fireplace.

if you want to burn old painted wood it would really depend on the paint that was used and what was use on the wood before it was painted; if i was you i would ask a person at a paint place or a person that uses paint for a profession .......Good Luck

Unless you know for sure the wood does NOT have lead based paint on it, don't burn it.

NO....DON'T DO IT!!!! A lot of old paint has lead and other chemicals which you don't want to burn indoors.
