NO!! Just ask in your DIY shop or boiler shop or if you can afford it ring a couple of corgi registered engineers to get a quote. One thing I will say though is I live in a council house and everyone in our county had Ideal boilers, the council took everyone out and replaced with a brand new one (different make) because the Ideal ones were causing so many problems and costing so much money to fix. Sorry to be the bearer........

You sound like a girl. Write the exact model on paper, go to a plumbing yard (Not a plumbers supplier) go in, act coy and ask some young fellow if he has an old switch in his junk box to fit your boiler. Never fails. I was in the game so I know.

usually needs the nob that's changing it, changed....found this personally effective!! hope this helped... OR....sell the boiler 4 scrap, and pay a heating engineer 2 charge u an extortionate price, sit on hiS @rse & drink ur alcohol, while his m8 watches out!! In any case...make sure ur s, and ur partners underwear are under lock & key B$ his entrance 2 his bed in ur attic!!!!

P.S. It always makes me feel better if during the Engineers escapade......to dribble a bit of cat (or, dog) pee into his tea / coffee / soft drink, and smiling politely at his incessant rantings about what a hard day he's had!!! TC NOW...
