I was looking on Yahoo! Groups for a plant and seed trader for the whole US, but couldnt find one. Do you know of any?

I started one myself, but if I can find one that has already been started Id rather just do that because I have no members right now! lol.

So if you know of a good Yahoo! Group that trades seeds and plants, please let me know!

In the mean time, if you want to join mine here is the link:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/plant_and_seed_trader/

If I dont have enough people join in the next month Ill shut it down, so I really hope someone else out there already has an established group!

I live in Orlando, Florida and at my current apartment the roaches are terrible. We've tried exterminators and sprays. I seriously doubt they could ever get rid of these damn things if a nuclear bomb exploded here right now. thank god, we are moving out of this godforsaken place in January, or sooner. I'm really worried the bugs will come with us. What can I do to make sure all the bugs are dead and removed before we move into our new place?

i plan on spraying little things that I put in the boxes, before i put them in the boxes, and maybe place them in storage so they won't get infested just laying around, and spraying, really well, all the big furniture. is this good?

I can't really tent a 12 unit apartment building, trust me I would've already. lol.

If the previously applied paint is oil-based, I know that water-based paint will not properly adhere to the surface. The painted surface is in good shape, so I do not want to apply a primer (I am replacing a few boards of exterior siding, and i need to apply the new paint, which was color-matched to the original paint, to previously painted boards adjacent to the new siding for blending and nail hold repairs). The previously applied paint is of unknown origin or manufacture.

Here's mine, a friend told me once on painting Crown molding to paint the underside of the flat the same color as the wall. After the Crown is painted it's final color, paint the underside flat that is at the bottom the same wall color. This allows you to quickly paint a very nice straight line without much effort because you don't have to worry about exactness. Use a wet T shirt to wipe off any excess above the flat using the moulding break-edge as a guide. Will produce perfect lines on crown moulding. And the wall color underside creates a nice shadow, and it works great if thier is a gap between the crown and wall.

Try it, of course he also told me his best tip - was to hire a pro :-)

My 90 gallon pond with plands and fish has up-ended for the second time. The first time was one year after it was put in and now again six months later. We leveled it and used sand to install according to instructions. It is an inground pond with a small waterfall.
