preferably a simple answer! i'm not green fingered. also i assume the same plant will flower annually? how long might it live?

I think it needs pollinating from another chilli plant

I'm no green thumb either, and I grew my first chili plant this year. How long have you had the flowers? As I recall, I had flowers for a while before the actual peppers grew big enough for me to see them. Perhaps you do have peppers but they are still so tiny that you can't see them? Keep on watering your plant, and make sure it's in a sunny spot, and hopefully you'll see chilis soon.
