They look like shrimp with really long legs and they hop really high and far. They don't like the sun or light. I seem to find them in the drains (or close them) and in really dark parts of my room (like under my dresser and in the closet). Raid and other bug sprays don't keep them away and the only way I've found that I can kill them is by stomping on them (if i catch them), spraying hair spray on them, or (if they're near the drains) spraying a foaming cleaner on them.

I really want to know what these bugs are so I know if I sould get my house de-bugged or if they go away (please note that I have only lived in this house for a few months). And also if you could add a picture onto your answer it would help me see if that really is the bug.

If I get any pictures of them I'll update the question's info.

It grows on a vine and is said to be a pain reliever and has a shiney green exterior, like a green pepper. I saw one growing in Georgia.

It looks kind of like a minuture humming bird, but is also quite moth-like. It's body resembles that of a hornet though and it has us all stumped. We found it drinking nectar from some plants outside and it doesn't seem to mind people. Any idea what it might be?

I received some great answers on how to work and control my climbing tea rose. Now when that is done I would love for it to produce more blooms! than 1x a year in late spring/ early summer I do cut off and cut back when the old blooms die But I am only getting them on the left side of the plant that is now 7-8 foot tall at min. and when they are gone there gone I do not get any more all year as I do with my rose bushes that seem to get new blooms weekly. I do not know the type or origin of this tea rose as it has been here 100 years and I just moved in here 2 years ago. up untill than it had been mowed off at a regular basis.

I keep watering it when I water my other herbs but, it keeps dying on me. Is it a dry plant? Could I be causing the roots to rot by watering it too much?

My home central air was perfect until my wife accidentally placed a box over the air return which restricted the air flow to the unit. That caused the evaporator or coil to freeze up along with the big copper freon line. Or I believe it's called the low pressure side.
It was frozen all the way to the condenser unit outside.
It was on after it froze for about 14 Hours before I realized that no cold air was coming out and the house was hot. So I removed the box, and turned it off for a whole day. After everything de-froze I turned it back on, and now there is a problem!!!
The line begins to freeze after an hour of it running. I'm sure no freeon leaked out, but can I have a damaged compressor? or do you think I may have to re-charge the unit? or maybe from the bad freeze, is there a posibility that the coil went bad? what should I do?

I recently bought a bunch of new American Rag Ts and Long Sleeve shirts (50% Cotton, 50% Polyester). The sleeves are one color, and the main torso part is either white or just a different color. I've washed them all about 2 times so far, and I was wondering about how many more washes it will take to make it so i don't have to worry about seperating the lights from the darks. I'd much rather just throw them all into one washer, cause as it is, each wash costs $1.25. Also it'd be a lot more convenient. Thanks a bunch ^_^

Do I need to clear the water before I cover it for the winter or can I leave it green until next spring? Will it stain the liner or eat through it over winter if it is left like that? Help please?
