Do it. If you let them use your house and the film is a success you will find that your house price will go up considerably. Think about it 'house for sale as seen in....' You could make a tidy profit out of this.

Go for it, get them to clean and professionally landscape afterwards and let you keep some of the furniture and props so that you can prove to the person who buys your house that it really was where the film was made and then sell them the lifestyle that they think they will get from watching the film!

I would be sure the price is right for you and rent money is a good idea, but I would be sure to have a written agreement for restitution for any damage or alterations that may result from the use by the crew.

If you haven't already seen the contract, ask to see it. Look at when it would start, how long it'd be, how much they'd pay you, whether they'd pay for you (and your family if you have one) to live elsewhere during that time, whether they'd move furniture, if you could return if you left something there, if they'd cover any damages, if they'd alter the house at all (painting, flooring, exterior), and if they'd interfere with the neighborhood. Weigh all those against your inconvenience, and your neighbors' inconvenience if you're friendly with them.

Yes they should give you a good payment and also i think you should have it in writing that they do not vandalise you property. So that they could't say that i was an "accident" they would have to be liable for it.

Really good money. Get them to pay you AND provide rent for you to live elsewhere.

Yes, I would love to see your house.
(A film about poverty and squalor would open all of our eyes)
