I recently had problems with my B&S lawn mower engine where it would only run on full choke. I decided to put a carb kit in and now I cannot keep the engine running. To start the motor, I pour a small amount of gasoline in the carb. It runs until this runs out and then dies. I thought it was the fuel pump, but I have double checked the re-build on this and everything is correct. There is also gas up to the fuel pump. I believe this fuel pump runs off the crankcase vacuum, but I do not know how to test this. Any suggestions?? My grass is now 9" tall. Thanks for any advice.

I have some credit problems, but am in the process of repairing them. I have done some remodeling on my own, on friends homes. I live in an area where there are many places to fix up,but the price of houses is going up and I'm afraid that by the time I'm ready financially, nothing will be in my price range. I'm anxious to start.

I have a Goldstar Dehumidifier (bought in 2003). It stopped running yesterday. Even though I set the humidity control to MAX, it would not run either. But sometime it may run for 10 minutes, then shut down again for good. It never happened like this before. When it does run for 10 minutes, ,there is no hot air blow out.

New cement sidewalk just over 1 month old. Professionally poured, 5" thick. Should it be 'sealed'? If so, when and with what?

There is one out hole on the trimmer. I started the string in the small hole on the orange spool and spun it until the spool was full leaving about 5 inches. I pulled the left over string into the notch and then out the trimmer hole. I slid the spool (notches side first) over the bump/tap button, it fit nicely. There are some grooved teeth on the spool inner hole and on the bump/tap button. I hear a snap and I can turn the spool, but it doens't seem to lock in place. I can reach in and still pull it out. If I try to start the device, the spool kicks right out. Is there a 3rd piece that is needed to lock this in place?

Need to have our kitchen remodeled and have no idea where to start. I'm guessing any contractor or kitchen remodeler would probably laugh in my face...but is it possible to have a 40 yr-old kitchen remodeled for under $25,000 and get good quality cabinets, new fridge, new dishwasher, new built-in oven, sink and stove top, new countertops and some recessed or in some way enhanced, lighting? And replace existing ceramic tile floor with either hardwood or laminate flooring? The work area is about 10 ft long X 8 ft deep. The eating area is about 9 ft X 11 ft. If this is totally unrealistic, what's the approximate minimum we'd need to accomplish this? Has anyone attempted this on such a budget?

Shared my room with my brother, but he just left for college, and he took some furniture with him! Now I have a 4 and a half foot space along my wall! I can't stand looking at that big blank space, so what should I put there? Keep in mind, the thing can't be more than 2 &1/2 feet in depth cause it is near my entryway! I already have a dresser, desk, and tv cabinet, so i don't know what else i could put in that spot. Oh, and my room has a very feng shui kinda feel! Please tell me what I should put in this spot!!!!

I am trying to decide on a style for my bedroom. I have a husband so it can't be too girlie for his sake (no Shabby chic). I have narrowed it down to a few: French Country, Caribbean/Tropical or Japanese. What do you guys think? Any ideas are welcome.
