Bamboo, it is almost impossible to kill. It needs a little bit of water every month, and the temperature doesn't really matter. It looks so cool, especially if you get the twisted kind! Trust me, I am notorious for being bad at keeping plants and animals alive, but I haven't killed my two bamboo arrangements yet! Air plants are hardy too!

Philodendrons are really easy to take care of and last a long time. I also have rainbow hostas that can be grown outdoors in summer and brought in for the winter (if you're in a cold climate). The leaves are pretty and it grows well in containers. Doesn't like a lot of direct sun, though.

It depends entirely on the conditions. but the plant called the snake plant, cast iron plant, or mother-in-laws tongue seems a fair bet since its nearly impossible to kill.

Snake plant, philaderdron, dracena corn plant are all low light and easy maintenance plants...

i have a whole bunch of cacti that have been in my house for a couple years. ive also had lantanas last a while.
