Would someone know what might be eating on my pepper plants? There are black chewed holes all over the peppers and I am having to throw the peppers away. I have kept the plants dusted all summer with "Sevin" but whatever is eating on the plants and peppers seems to be immune to the dust. Can someone help me?

this house we bought has a loft (attic) which is fully boarded, when I lifted a board there is no insulation under it. Should I pull all the boards up and fill the gap with glassfibre insulation or not bother? (We are in an area with cold winters)

My dad just killed another snake. This was the second one. It was at the same place as the last on, curled up on the side of our house. My dad shot it once with a .410 shotgun. It darted away at a amazing speed. The second shot blew off its head. I think they are water mocasins. My Mom spreads snake-away and sulfur around our house, but it doesn't work. What can we do besides a .410.(It's a "blast killing them!)

I am being harrassed by the landlord and his wife at the house I am currently renting in Hawaii. In the 4 months that I have been here they have popped by at least 5 times to do spot inspections and the last inspection they made an appointment and threatened a bunch of times to evict me if I had an attitude with them. I was also told that the neighbors are watching me and my childrens every move and reporting back to them. I am scared, this is my 1st time renting a house, and they basically run all over me. There is nothing wrong witht the house, I have always paid my rent in person on the 1st of the month and such. I need out of this lease. If anyone knows how I can get out of this lease early please tell me. I am scared for the safety and wellbeing of my children and myself. My husband is in Iraq while this is going on and I am at my wits end. PLEASE HELP!

My fridge is part of a fridge-freezer. The fridge has a temperature of about 10.c which is too high. Inside is a dial with range from 1-7, right now it is set on 7 as I told this will make my fridge the coldest (is this right?). I have just cleaned the fridge and the drainage pipe was blocked, would this be a reason for my fridge to being so warm?

It's that plastic numbering used on t-shirts to make numbers. I peeled off most of it (75%), but some parts are impossible to take off. Any home remedies?

I've tried a bunch of cleaners but nothing is really working. It has a black face on it so some of the newer more harsher products I cannot use.

Are they really trying to "free" little plastic statues from people's yards, or is this all a big joke??
I hope they aren't serious...

I've been renting my apartment for over ten years. My curtains are falling apart and many of the other apartments had them replaced with blinds when the tenants changed. Shouldn't I get the blinds too? Also, what's my recorse of the outside glass door is always broken and the security lights have not been fixed as I've requested numerous times?

So I was in a rush today and accidently knocked over an applicator bottle of red hair dye onto the floor. Of course it was uncapped.

It splattered on the unstained wood door, wood edging, the toilet seat (protected wood seat) and the tile floor. I am not worried about the seat or the floor, as I got most of that up and I know the rest will fade in time. I am worried about the unstained (untreated) wood that was splattered fairly nicely. I am a renter, and I am completely freaked out.

Any suggestions? HELP!!!
