yes to the ice and/or peanut butter......and for the little fragments that have actually gotten into the fibers, try Goo Gone and an old toothbrush, but afterwards hand wash in the sink before the washer/dryer because it's flammable!

Rub peanut butter on the bubblegum and it breaks it down, also you might try freezing and breaking it off if it is not embedded in the fibers.

Use an ice cube on it. When it is cold enough pick it off. Or place the article of clothing in the freezer, when it is frozen pick it off.

Get a can of R-134a & a hose.
Spray the freon on the gum & it will freeze deeply.
THen, it'll just break off!
