16 inches bigger on each horizantal and vertical on a california king

I had a california king sized twin bed. It was the size of one of the bottom matresses for a king sized bed. A california king is slightly longer than a king size bed but half the width... or at least mine was half the width because the 2 matresses made up one California King Sized bed if you put them together.

All I know is I own a king and the california king sheets fit on it.
BUT it does NOT work the other way, if you have a california king you must buy california king sheets.
Therefor a california king must be slightly larger.

California Kings are longer.

in a king bed you can sleep with your wife whereas in a california king bed you can sleep with your entire family and pets i suppose

i have a cal. king.....can get sheets at JC penny's or like store....a king is lnger and wider than a reg king....i am 6' 7" and my feet dont hang off the bed, lol.....

the califorina king is bigger then a king and plus its harder to find sheets for unless u look online
