YES! DO IT! We did this when we bought our first house and it turned out beautifully. YOu wont regret it. It is really easy if you buy the right supplies. Home Depot has a "Do it yourself class" every once in awhile-cal them for details. Ok here is my personal advice:
1. Pick a darker color grout. Why? Because grout is very hard to clean. If you really want white-go with a darker shade of it, maybe almost a light grey. We did SNow White, boy did we regret this.
2. Dont know your situation but if youre living there dont do it all in the same day or you wont be able to use that part of the house for a long while. They say 24 hours to dry, but i would do 48 hours to be safe.
3. Something fun to do before tiling that only you could do if you do it yourself-write a fun statement, prayer or anything under the tile before tiling (Bless this home, YOur Family names, wishes for the fam, etc.).
Good luck and have fun. You wont regret it.

Grouting tile can be done in a couple of evenings. To do it correctly, you need the proper tools, such as a rubber trowl and sponges. Try to do small sections at a time. Follow the directions on the grout label for proper mixing. The trick is to keep the grout off the top of the tiles while the grout hardens. Do this by sponging off the tiles periodically (after it glazes over). I have done all my own tile and have had excellent results. You will be suprised at how easy it is...just need a little patience.

Hmmm, I would say that you have to take into consideration the square feet of the room and how much tile you will need. If your not clear on the logistics then, I say that its best that you consults someone at Home Depot or Lowe's. Or check out the following websites I have listed.

If you are seriously getting it done, I'd do it yourself because it's not that hard to do and it's a lot cheaper than calling a professional! Check out this site.
