I need to find a roommate & this is a nice size (approx 1200 sqft) duplex w/2 baths, small rm/office, dishwsher, cntrl a/c, storage, 10 min. dtown, near 3 major bus lines, exprsswy, metra, & subways. Prkng is ok. There are $400,000 condos all around & walking dis. Wicker Park, sushi, pizza, mex, thai, cafes, groceries, clubs, trendy bars, banks. I mean the 'hood' is becoming amazing, compared to when I moved here 5 yrs ago....dealers used to stand where 1/2 mil. condos are now. The place has dig. expanded tv, cable & wireless net, it's own hotwater heater, unlimited phone (Vontage), I get groceries delivered, deep freezer. The person get their own bath & will have over half the LR, storage & hallways to do with what they want. My cats stay in my room. I am neat, clean, very organized & loves to cook gourmet dishes. The 'neg' is, I like loud club/dance music (I can play when no1's here), keep the place cold & not alot of sunshine gets in. Same apart. in area is well over $1800. Advice!?

My room is so blah, and I can't paint it because next year i get the basement. But for now, i want my room to be cool! I used to have tons of posters, but i didn't like that. I have a bulliten board with pics of my friends, and i have a desk, a book shelf, two closets, a tv, dresser, and bunk bed. oh, and there's a window in my room. anything i could do to those areas or something? i've got a few windchimes and a bamboo plant, also. but basically, i don't really want to spend money!

It can not only be good for the environment ~t can be good for the mind, it can be a "therapeutic" motion.

Some people are against it because of the way it dries certain garments, others complain about the birds.... others who leave their clothes out over night run into other problems with the settling dew. I personally like to hang clothes out mainly for the environmental reason....even if half the nations power wasn't being generated in "un-environmentally-safe ways"(coal etc), I think I would still like to hange the clothes out when I had the chance, rather than spin the dryer.

These pants are practically cardboard, and were even worse when i bought them. They are slightly softened after 10 washes...anyone know how to get rid of the starch or any ideas on what could soften them completly like an old pair of dickies without the permanent creases. thanks.

I have a Charbroil Gas grill and the tank ran empty. Hooked up a new tank within 5 minutes and couldn't hear any gas flow and couldn't light the grill. Checked all of the connections and used soapy water to check for hose leaks...everything appears normal. I thought it might be the tank so I got another one and the problem still existed. Is there anything else I can do? Thanks for all of your help!

When getting a roof done and the tar paper is put down correctly and it ends up raining before the shingles are put down. Can water leak through the tar paper?
