My wall to wall carpeting, installed 5 years ago just before I bought my house, is a sea of waves. I think the previous owner did it himself, so i have no recourse to the store or carpet vendor to fix it. What causes this (humidity?) and can I save this otherwise nice carpeting? it is in my master bedroom and 2nd floor hallway

My grass is still a little thin after just planting it last summer. My problem is, I want to add some seed this fall in hopes that it will help thicken the already existing grass up some. Do I need to loosen the dirt or just use a broadcast spreader on it. I have over a half an acre and it will be hard to loosen all of the dirt. Any suggestions?

I have a Brazilian Pepper tree. The leaves have been dead and brown. The tree feels solid but it really hasn't grown in the 2 years that I've had it. Is it dead? Can it be revived. It does have some small green offshoots growing on it if you look hard enough.

I found a scorpion in my cupboard today. All I had to spray on it was kitchen bleach, slowed it down a little, but not much. I finally ended up flushing down the toilet. I keep my kitchen fairly clean. What attracts scorpions? Do I probably have more?

I have a potted orange tree that’s almost three years old and it’s about a foot and a half high. I started this tree from seed and planted it in miracle grow soil. I repotted it only once. I live in northern Vermont and the tree lives indoors. I water it weekly and right now it’s living next to spider plants. It was doing fine until now. The problem with this tree is that it is starting to discard the new leaves that grow at its ends. Then I also noticed orange crystals growing on the branches of my orange tree where the new leaves fall off. Does this orange tree have a disease?

Apparently the odor has been there for at least three years in various degrees, but now getting very bad. The smell seems strongest in the air flow above the filter and does not appear to originate in the duct work. It is somewhat musty, but much stronger and not really a burning smell.

There's a glob of melted crayon stuck in my dryer and I need to know the best way to get it out without ruining my dryer. I thought about turning the dryer on for a few minutes to let the glob get soft, and then try to wipe it out, but I'm afraid that will make a bigger mess. There's also crayon marks on several items of clothes that were in the dryer with the crayon. How do I get these stains off the clothes without ruining the clothes? Is there any hope?

I'm moving from an apartment ( a big one with a bunch of junk) to a (itty bitty ) dorm

I have a TON of crap.

I was going to donate big stuff like my T.V but all my other junk Like jeans, books and Hangbags I was going to toss...

I don't have time for a yard sale and I'd need to rent a truck to drop off my stuff to a thrift store..

Isn't better to just junk it and be done with it?

(I only have 1 week to move.)
