Just wondering if it is possible to paint a kitchen countertop and if it is, what products would work best and if it would hold up well. Has anybody out there done this? What were your results like? Thanks...=)

We just had tile intalled in our home. What products do you use (or recommend) to clean tile? On a regular basis? Spill/Accident basis?

Also, can anyone recommend a good cordless sweeper (for tile of course)?

My lithodora ground cover is not doing well at all here in N Texas. We are in drought conditions and it was 105 degrees F just yesterday. Should I wait it out and hope when the weather gets cooler, they will thrive?

I know that there are many products on the market today that make your house like something out of the future (ie fridges with computers in them, lights that turn on when you walk into the room, fingerprint entries, etc.). Are there any web sites out there that show what products are avaliable today and which are still apart of the sceince fiction genre? Thanks.

I found these little round holes that appear to be filled with mud under some planks in my deck. Sometimes they are filled, sometimes they are not. I suspect some sort of insect infestation but I find nothing on termites that describes this situation. I have not poked inside to see what comes out. Help?
