Can anyone recommend a product that would eliminate the stain/smell of cats marking? They have marked clothes, furniture, plastics...

First, if your cats are not spayed or nuetered them get them so. Spraying is a territorial response. If your cat hasn't been neutered and is spraying your first step should be to get him neutered immediately. There are alot of products out there, I have tried many from when my dog was a puppy. I actually ended up buying one from a carpet cleaning company and it works the best. BUt I am sure there are others.

87% of all tomcats stop spraying after castration
78% stop immediately
9% stop in a few months
13% keep right on spraying

There is also a product called Feliway
"Feliway" is a spray that mimics the facial pheromones of cats.
A pheromone is a chemical substance secreted by animals to confirm territory and communicate with external others.
Feline "facial pheromones" are produced by glands located in the cheeks of the cat. When the cat applies these pheromones to surfaces it makes those areas familiar and comforting. Facial pheromones are happy - secure odors for cats!
Facial pheromones are known to inhibit urine marking when applied to an area previously marked.

NOTE: Never use bleach or ammonia for cleanup of urine It can increase marking! Use a mild detergent followed with a vinegar/water rinse.

use pine sol or a good pine cleaner., pour a small amount on a damp rag or cloth, rub it into the marking . one time may not be enough. as soon as you know about the markings get to it as soon as you can . I have seen people use a bathroom cleaner such as Dow scrubbing bubbles also.
