I need to remove the paint from my porch before I can sand it and repaint it. What is the eaisest way to do it? I don't want to use that gooey paint thinner stuff. How else can I do it?

Blow torch.....be very careful.

It depends on if the paint is latex or oil based. If it's on a really old structure, you may have lead in the paint to worry about also. That being said, I've found that a pressure washer works wonders for removing loose latex paint (non-leaded).

Use some paint remover. . But that is probly what you don't want to use. Try a pressure washer , maybe some one you know has one.. I have used them but be careful know what you are doing. Good luck Pem
