IKEA - Is the stuff cheap rubbish - or is it value for Money ?

Have you bought anything from IKEA - the Swedish cheap Furniture store - Is the stuff value for money or is it just junk...

I have had great luck with it. It is certainly different than the other furniture stores, but that is the idea. They specialize in small space room pieces. I love all the things I have got there and for the money I have spent I am very pleased and will go back again in the future.

I have always had good luck with IKEA, except the fact that you have to assemble it which sucks, but I would say it is good value for your money. If you know how to decorate then IKEA looks as good as anything out there.

after driving 1.5 hours to my nearest ikea store, i personally thought the stuff was junk. it was poorly made and flimsy (well the furniture, at least). you would be better off buying stuff from kmart or walmart to get value for your money!!

Depends on the product your buying. They do have some very good deals but I don't think your going to have the interior of your house making any magazine covers with their furniture.

It's not cheap at all !
I love ikea !
Me and my wife have bought all of our furniture from that marvelous place...
Although I would like to complain for that closet with plastic in it.

I paid 40 bucks for my coffee table it looks really expensive, but is quite cheap (obviously). I would say I got my money's worth.

I nearly had a bookshelf fall onto my face. It was made by IKEA.
