I love Black Magic Roses... When closed (bud) they look almost black. But opened, they are the deepest red... so beautiful!

I like Peace roses: pink blush on yellow.
This past spring I also saw a really neat rose called Austrian Copper. It was an orangey red with yellow stamens in the center. After the bloom grew old and the petals fell, the stamen remained fresh and bright like a second flower. Unfortunately, it is a wild type rose, very thorny and the blooming time is only once a year.

Our florist has some beautiful mauve roses. I also love yellow roses. My first boyfriend gave me a dozen for high school graduation.

that depends on your preference, I like purple ones. The specific purpose of purple roses is to signify that the giver has fallen in love with the recipient at first sight.

a gloomy red or a pruple could be reliable. yet then make soem white ones and strip the bag with an similar hues you made the different roses. it can help them stand out fromt he white icing slightly.

I have three fav's
The JFK rose my mom used to have in her flower bed, it was a white with red edging,
a pretty peach edged with red that my granddad grew.
and a pretty lilac colored one I say once.

my old fashioned roses are red, my favorite of the newer ones is a pink miniature shrub rose
