When getting a roof done and the tar paper is put down correctly and it ends up raining before the shingles are put down. Can water leak through the tar paper?

If the tar paper gets wet from a storm and got the plywood wet should we replace the plywood or contuniue on with the shingles

If the tar paper was put down correctly the roof should not leak unless the rain really pours down with lots of wind. but the tiles should be put down asap

Just put the shingles on.
It'll be fine.

Yes, but it should be pretty minimal. There are no sealed edges and water will generally find a way to go right where you don't want it.

it has been known to happen....
try laying a tarp down.... and get those shingles installed a.s.a.p.
