Surprisingly I was walking through Target the other day and they have a few nice pieces. Also, IKEA has a very good selection for that mod look you are trying to achieve - always reasonably priced. I would also recommend checking out local thrift stores and such - you might just find a great bargain! Good luck !

Look at Home Decorators on line. They are very inexpensive, have good quality and a range of furniture to suit every taste.
