Not to be prosaic, but the best above ground pool to buy is the one that fits you best.

Most pools come in depths of 52inches...but with an expandable liner you can increase that to 72" by digging a hole under the pool (see info link)

Being a retailer of pools I suggest the Cornelius brand of pools as being both quality and affordable pool. They are also easier to put together, they come in various sizes (starting at 12 foot round).

If 8ft is close to your limit then there is Heritage brand pools, some of them come in sizes as small as 8ft 9in Round

all of these pools will accomodate an expandable liner

certain, we put in a 15x20x52 oval pool very last summer time. actual one end is buried about 2 a million/2 feet and the different end is in straightforward words about 8 inches. merely that little bit has made it sturdier. you could bounce off the deck contained in the ingredient and it would not shake or waiver one bit. that's totally nice and honestly worth it besides the undeniable fact that it replaced into VERY exertions. We dug the completed ingredient ourselves so shall we keep the money we may have spent renting a backhoe.
