That is an "earwig."

This insect is called an earwig! Buy some rade that says kills earwigs on it!

that sounds like an eariwig or earwig... they are little and long with pinchers on their back.

They are earwigs. I don't know how to get rid of them... we have them here in Michigan too. You can always do as my 5 year-old.... Stomp 'em!
