Okay, I would like to get a small tattoo. I'm not sure where though. I wanted one on my foot but everyone said it hurt so bad & that some didn't turn out, you have get them redone more, etc. So, I'm looking for a new place. I don't want it on my thigh or abdomen area b/c if I get pregnant in the future I don't want to run the risk of it stretching a lot. And I don't want it somewhere that I can't hide it. I want to be able to dress professionally and be able to cover it up if I want, I thought above my ankle but then that would be seen in any skirt I wore so I'm not sure. What are your suggestions? I hear that the closer to the bone the more painful and since I'm not in love with one spot I'm thinking I should pick one where it won't be that painful. Any ideas?

Hi im sat here panicking ...

I had my daughter who weighed 9lb 13, 11 weeks ago, i blead on and off for 2 weeks then heamoraged and needed a d&c (retained placenta) i only blead for another week after that.. now 9 weeks later for the past 2 days ive been having bad cramps in my abdomin and today i wiped myself and had what i can only describe as a mucus plug with some blood on it (tiny bit t spoon) so me being me took myself up to a & e ( am traumatized from what happeend before) they took my bloods, swabs, examined me, bloods shows no infection, swab takes 48 hrs, she said everything felt fine no need for an ultrasound yet (booked in for 1 in 5 weeks) and its probably the start of my period.. but what was this mucus plug thing? is it the start of my period? im really worried the cramps are still there but no bleeding ... has anyone gone through simular? thanks xx

Also, I would appreciate any other input if you are a nurse or an OB or GYN or both. I have both conditions. And I have seen several doctors on this. I am considering having Endometrial Ablation. I don't really want a hysterectomy. And I don't really have any abnormalities or other issues that really warrant it. I have had all the blood work, pap smears and even a ultra sound. There are no other problems. I have been told by doctors and read some things that suggest that a lower altitude, warmer weather, and lower sea level will help this.
I have noticed when I travel down south, like Arizona or the bottom of Nevada or San Diego, that I have less problems. Just wondering if there is anything to this. We are considering moving down to Las Vegas because of it. I always feel better there and anywhere where its really hot or at least warmer.
Is this all in my head or is there something to this?
What other things can help to minimize symptoms, besides surgery and hormones? Natural!

Hello, Im 16 years old, I've been getting it since I was 11. My period has never been too regular, but it would always...come, at least. Usually a day or two later than expected. Which is normal. It's been over a week since my due date, and Im really starting to get worried. I know Im not pregnant, I've never had sex before, and my boyfriend lives on the other side of the country.

I've heard of early menopause, But Ive also heard you need to be having your period for 10 years for that to happen, and I've only had mine for five. What else could it be besides menopause? Im really starting to get worried now. Thanks.

Ok, i know this might seem a really silly question, and an obvious one, but is there anyway possible to reduce the length of your period? Like if you are on your 7day break from your contraceptive pill, and you start your period...if u start your next pack of pills mid way through your period, will it stop it? or is this dangerous to start your pill earlier than you are meant to.
Help!!
Thanks

I'm 15 years old, and just a few days ago I noticed a change in my vaginal discharge. It is usually normal, but it recently changed to very thick, and yellow-ish, with a strange smell (I can't describe it). It started Tuesday with small pains in my vaginal area, and then the discharge was different (also, I've been very tired lately...I dont think that's relevant, but in case it is.). I'm not sexually active, so it couldn't be an STD, Im pretty sure. Also, this has never happened before, so I'm not sure what this could be, or what to do. Any ideas on what could be causing this sudden change, or when/how I can get it back to normal?

I'm researching if different generations start at different (younger) ages.

I started when I was 11 in 1987. Your turn :)

Is it normal to have like a burning I guess you can say when your period is coming down? like I have bad discomfort since my period came down a few days ago. The burning was mainly when it wasn't coming down just spotting now that it's a tad heavier though the discomfort isn't there nearly as much but it still is a little you know? could anyone tell me if this is normal or if I might have something wrng?

I have been on depo for over a year and I really like it but the only problem that i have with it that I dont have regural periods but insted Im spotting, which wouldnt bother me that much if it wouldnt last forever. its little bit but for the longest time, and its getting really annoying. Thats why i was wondering if maybe it will be better for me to go back to the pill- i never had a problem with pill and i never missed one so im not scared. But im wondering if its not gonna messed up my hormons and even if i will do everything right i might get pregnant. I dont know how it works. Does anybody know?? thank you for respons :-)

I had a cerebral hemorrhage (bleeding stroke, not blood clot) at 8 weeks post-partum. My neurologist never figured out why--not high bp, not overweight, not over 40, etc. I had a normal pregnancy with no complications. I've been to several doctors, and none of them know if I am at risk for a stroke after next potential pregnancy. Does anyone else have any ideas?

For the last week or so I have been craving fish. Before that it was chicken. Do any of you have any idea why I could be having these cravings? And NO I am not pregnant so it isn't that.

I had a mammogram done two days ago, I was sent there from my doctor bc we found a lump in my breast. I am only 20. I went in, they did the mammogram. My insurance only covers what my doctor refers also, and after the mammogram they said they wanted to call over and reccomend I get an ultrasound on it also. I did. Well, then after it, they just said okay your done, you can go now. I thought I would get results, a good or a bad. I asked, um So do I get the results from my doctor? and, she said yes, thats how it usually works. If its bad dont they usually tell u right there, they can tell u results cants they? also, do i wait for my doctor to call me, do i call and make an appt? how long do i wait?

okay, long story here, so sorry for that, but need some piece of mind. I'm 25. Last week I fell down my basement stairs and severly bruised my back and ribs. They put me on pain medication and muscle relaxers for it. And I started to feel better very soon, and was back to work after a week. I stopped my pain meds on Sunday night. Then Monday I started having really bad abdominal pain. I didn't worry about it at first, and then Tuesday night I was still hurting. I thought maybe that because of my pain medication mother nature couldn't run its course and took some milk of magnesia and it worked like it needed to but my abdominal pain increased severly. My fiance wanted to take me to the ER last night because he was scared but because of our limited funds I told him that I'd go to the doc this am. Long story short they are talking something wrong with my ovary, should I be scared, or am i worrying for nothing? Could my fall have impacted this at all? Thanks!!!
