Women's Health - March 2007

My 16 year old daughter is still growing! About an inch in the last year alone. We were told she'd stop no later then two years after she started her period, well, that clock has rung, 2 fold already...
She has no problem being tall, but at 6'1" already and feet still growing too, she might not be so thrilled in a couple of years.
Is there a way to predict how tall she might end up?

My mother is 65 and went through the change of life at 50 , in the last few months she has been having periods , and the pains that acompany them , has anyone any idea what could be causeing this and does it look a bad thing , id prefer an honest answer please :)

Why is this and is there anything I can do to make it not interfere with my life so much? Excedrin, Tylenol, even Midol never seem to help with the headaches. I spend one out of every four weeks in bed.

I have bad fatigue during my period. im 13, so im not gonna go on birth control pills or anything like that. i tak midol for my cramps...but i still need help with my fatigue. its horrible. i mean, when people lose blood they usualy arent real peppy...but im just laying in bed all day wondering when ill get up cuz im just too tired. it takes me forever to do something cuz im so dang slow. is there any way i can do something to stop my fatigue...btw, nothing is wrong with me, this is natural for me, and im not seeing a doctor cuz i dont need to. is there any like foods i can eat or something?

this is kinda funny yet need to know here its goes

i woke up to day at 6 pm this week i been sleep late and going to bed late but i do get 7 . to 8 hrs of sleep if i go to bed when i get finaly tierd . i warryed alote but

this is kind of a weird wuestion to ask but one of my nipples is more sensitive then the other. what could cause that and what should i do about it. and there is a big difference. they look the same but one is really sensitive and the other i can bearly feel anything most of the time. For the past few months I am feeling this heaviness in my breasts at night after I take off my bra which I wear from the morning and sometimes a tingling pain in one breast and sometimes the other, not together at the same time. I am 37 with two sons, 14 and 5 resp. I have a normal life in all aspects with no medical problems.

i have never been on bc before untill now to skip my periods from advice from my doctor. i am on second month packet 5 days into it and i have spotting im confused because the doctor said that when you get breakthrough bleeding to take the sugar tablets ... so my question is do i take the sugar tabs now or hold on till end of the month .... will i be bleeding throughout this whole month if i dont take the sugar ones thankyou for anyone who can help me

I have moved back home because of a divorce and my mom isnt the same person as when I left. She has had blood work done and the doctor said it isnt menopause but I dont know. She's 50. I have always admired her cheery outlook on every situation. It just isnt so anymore. I am going through a divorce and she doesnt get along with her husband very well so that may be causing it but I have seen her go through tough times before and she was such a trooper. Now she is always mad. She gets offended if you look at her wrong or answer her wrong or in the wrong tone. She gets mad at my stepbrother for HAVING ACNE! What is happening to my poor mom???

recently, i checked out my "area" and on the outside of the "area" its looks like dead skin, when i try and like wipe it off, it peels like skin it has like a dark grayish color to it. and then on the inside it looks like cottage cheese, and during sex its very painful, like even before we have sex its very painful. it doesnt smell it has a slight smell, but nothing like very potent. its alot of discharge, and it itches very badly, but when i scratch it like makes the skin really sensitive. the same symptoms are around my anus. does anybody know what this is.....please help, i hate going to the doctor.

I'm almost 15 years old, 5'7 and 116 pounds. People tell me I'm too thin but all I see is fat. The BMI scale says I'm underweight [on the border line ofunderweight and desirable] but it says that Tom Cruise is obese, not just overweight, so I don't trust it. Anyways, all I see on my is big thighs, big hips, and fat. Am I fat or not. And if I'm not fat, is there any way to convince myself that I'm not fat? How do I lose weight???
