Body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) is characterized by an excessive preoccupation with a real or imagined defect in your physical appearance.
People with body dysmorphic disorder have a distorted or exaggerated view of how they look and are obsessed with actual physical characteristics or perceived flaws, such as a certain facial feature or imperfections of the skin. They often think of themselves as ugly or disfigured. People with body dysmorphic disorder often have problems controlling negative thoughts about their appearance, even when reassured by others that they look fine and that the minor or perceived flaws aren't noticeable or excessive.
Treatment for body dysmorphic disorder may involve a combined approach involving medication and talk therapy (psychotherapy). Antidepressant medications used along with cognitive behavior therapy can help people with body dysmorphic disorder manage the obsession and anxiety about their appearance, increase confidence in how they look, and obtain normalcy in their social and work lives.

If you start exercising and keeping track of your required daily values for food and taking vitamins, you'll feel much healthier, more toned, and won't focus so much on your "big thighs, big hips, and fat." You're not fat, by the way. Hypnosis may help. I wouldn't recommend pills though since you are young, your body is still developing, and you are underweight. With those three combined, it could seriously affect your emotional wellbeing.
The BMI scale does not take into consideration muscle weight, which is why alot of atheletes are considered overweight. Tom Cruise probably has a home gym and works out 5 hours a day, so I wouldn't worry about him. However, the BMI is adjusted to the average person's body.

Get a large piece of paper from an art store. Draw your body on the paper as you feel you look. Lay down on top of what you drew and have a friend or family member outline your body. You will clearly see that your mind is making you see yourself heavy when you are really not.
This is a lesson that was used on a class I attended for eating disorders.
You also need to talk to doctor and he will help place you with an eating disorder therapist that will help you....
Take care...

Unless you have a really small body frame, then you are slightly underweight. I can't imagine you being big or fat in any way, shape or form. You most definitely need some professional help for your body image issues, before you end up with a full blown eating disorder.
Take care : )

no, you are far from being fat!
i used to have the same problem. i'm about an inch or two shorter than you and when i was at 115 pounds, i thought i was so fat and deformed.
well i started college this past fall and gained my freshman 10. now i feel worse than ever and have realized that i was NOT fat before.
don't let yourself think that you're fat. it gets to the point where you'll do ANYTHING to lose weight, trust me, i know.
be happy with yourself, most girls would kill to be at that weight.

teenage girls exagerate what they should be like.
its something called body dismorphic disorder.you view yourself wrongly.
when you underestimate yourself, you get stressed trying to "correct" yourself.your head gets tired.
The continuous stress you impose on yourself prevents you from making good choices as you are constantly mentally tired at the thought of " i'm fat, i'm not fat,i'm fat,i'm not fat..."
This will make you lower your standards when its time to judge yourself in the face of a situation of where your social stature matters, and you could end up making wrong chjoices.
Relax.
cool desirable girls don't do 90-60-90 cm. they are just cool.
why?
because cool is the opposite of stressed...and cool girls like theselves the way they are...they manage to take care of themselves...and this makes them attractive.
Stressing yourself to death about a problem that does not exist could ruin your life.

DONT WORRY ABOUT YOUR WEIGHT.
i have friends that are proud of their weight,
and they arent even fat!
it may seem like fat when you look down at our stomach
but what i realized is that it's more than it seems
it just makes you freak out
seeing more than there is.
and if anyone calls you fat,
they are probably jealous because
you are only 116 lbs!
im 13 and me and my friends weigh more than that.
and we arent over weight.
((not concieted, we took a test))

Honey, you seriously need to get some help. AT your height, you are about as thin as you should be, yet you want to lose weight. This is not a weight problem, but a psychological one. TAlk to your parents, teacher, friend, butplease talk to someone and get help.
