I was in exactly the same situation as you when I was younger. I was wondering when my period would come along. It eventually came when I was 12, and I wish it hadn't. Periods are horrible, and can stop you having fun. I get them really bad & it's just terrible. The only good thing that came out of it, was I started before all my friends did, but people still took the mick - they would say "i know who's started HER periods" while looking at me, and I would laugh and say "well at least I don't have to worry about starting mine in the middle of class!".
My suggestion to you would be to talk to your mum - she's gone through it all and knows what you're going through. If she started late, then you probably will - it's in the genes, after all. Also, discharge doesn't necessarily mean you'll start your period anytime soon - every woman has it, even after they've started their period. If it changes colour or starts to smell bad, that's when it's abnormal.
But you should celebrate not having a period yet because it's a horrible experience!! =) You'll be fine though

Dont worry. I wasnt 15 till i started and i was like you i prayed for the day and felt jealous and left out when people around me where 'more mature' but now i have periods Their nothing special in fact at times can be a bit of a bother.
All i can say is dont wish it to come be grateful for the time being you can plan ahead for things without needing to think on about 'the time of the month'

it can come whenever, it may take awhile, it is a slow process for some, a fast process for others, but feel lucky. u don't want it. trust me, i know the pressure that u feel when it seems like everyone but u has it, it happened to me for the last 2 years, and trust me, it doesn't matter once u get it. no one is keeping track besides u, so if it's self conciousness ur worried about, there's nothing to it, but if it's health....i had discharge for a pretty long time, i think about as long as u, and i'm fine now!

Everyone's body grows at different rates. Some girls are 16 before they get their period. Others get it as early as eight. You'll get it, so don't worry. Be happy with your body and just enjoy life!

Don't rush it. It will come. I didnt start mine until I was almost 15. Everyone is different and and you will get it. Then you'll be wishing it had waited longer to get here.

are you small size for your age? that could be one reason... my friend was 15 her first time. she was lucky.

Stress also causes missed periods.. so dont worry... its all good
