I started taking birth control pills and I feel sick in my stomach everytime I take them. Is it a coincidence?
Thanks!

Many people have problems at first. What time of the day do you take them? You might want to try taking them at night before you go to bed. If that doesn't work you need to talk to your doctor.

They definitely can do that. But in that case, you should call your doctor to have them change the pill. It's obviously not agreeing with your system. I went through 9 different types of pills and never found one that worked for me. I always got sick like that. Definitely consult your doctor about it.

yes they can make you sick. I used to take pills right after I had my first child and they made me so sick I couldnt get out of bed. Talk to your doctor and see if they can get you some with lower dosage. Hope you feel better!

if it's making you feel really bad i suggest you consult your doctor. she prolly gave you pills that are too much for your body to handle so just talk to her and tell her what's wrong so she can put you on something different that will ease your stomach.

or you can wait it out for one month and see if it's still giving you a very hard time. the first month on the pills are the worse cuz your body is getting use to it.

Probably not a coincidence, it takes your body awhile to get used to it especially if its a high dose pill. It takes 3 months until you stabilize on them.

You should get used to it after a week or so. This is a normal feeling when you first begin taking them.

Yes.This is one of the very common side effects. If it doesn't go away by the time you start your next pack, talk to your doctor. The hormone levels could be wrong for you, or you are really sensitive to them. So if it doesn't go away, talk to your doctor.
