I've heard several people say that since they started a certain birth control that they've noticed an increase in breast size. Is this possible, or myth? And also, is it just that the method of b.c. makes them gain weight, hence bigger boobs? In any case, has anyone noticed a difference? And if so, what kind of birth control is it?

every so often i get dry heaves and start gagging for no reason what so ever. i feels like i'm going to PUKE, neasous - but i don't and after awhile i calm down and it goes away...what could be causing this?

I am a borderline diabetic, high blood pressure (with 1 pill a day but this start even before i was on this med)

Ok I know for a fact that antibiotics greatly reduce the effectiveness of birth control...cause it happened to my sister...

All my doc has ever told me was about the antibiotics but are there any other meds (prescription & non) that do also? I've been battling with a cold/sinuses/allergies all week & have been taking either Claritin or Sudafed. Do those affect it at all?

I'm always extra careful but I just want to make double sure just so that I'm more informed......

i had a physical last week and was told before i left that i had bacterial vaginosis and was contacted today saying my test were abnormal and i have chlamydia. please tell me i don't have chlamdia and the test were wrong. my or my husband either has cheated so are there any way he or i had gotten this from something else.

...the Sunday after my period starts. That would be fine if I actually got normal periods. They're normal in the fact that they come ever three months. I just had my last period on Feb. 19. Would it be safe to start now or should I just wait till my next period?

I am 34 and use to be on the pill for years and 3 years ago I became severaly allergic to all kinds as I tried them all. I never had pain, cramps, much less any bad side effects. Now I have regular periods as far as every 25 days but I am having a major problem. I hate to be gross but in the first 3 days of getting my cycle I lose big blod clots and saturate a pad or tampon ususally with in an hour so. This is starting to make me real weak and just completely wipes me out. I can't even leave the house for fear of an accident. I have been in bed for 2 days and I want to know is this normal? Do other women have periods that suck the life out of them and bleed excessively? What do you do to control it?? Any foods or pills that help you or any thing you can tell me good or bad would be helpful. Thank you all.

I finished my period 6 days ago and I keep getting period like cramps and I'm just wondering is this normal? I keep going to the bathroom thinking I might get my period back again. I went off the pill December 16th and we only on it for 8 months. Have any ideas on what it could be?

I find the ignorance that even health practioners have about HPV is ridiculous! Children get strains of the HPV virus. It is not strictly a sexually transmitted disease even though warts and sometimes cancerous cells emerge in the cervix. Many people who have sex get the cold virus through sexual activity. Let's get real about our morality.

Anyway, I am interested in knowing why is there a stigma for HPV and other diseases that are sometimes but not always caused by sexual intercouse. (i.e. Mono is thought to be caught by kissing; it happens more easily that way, but definitely not only strictly that way.)

So, I just found out I was pregnant w/ HPT tests, I was a few days late so took four of them and all were positive, then I got my period...and when I say period, it's a normal period -like flow?? What is up w/ this, I heard this happens, has anyone experienced this...it's not like my usual period w/ cramps and stuff, but it kind of scared me, I have a docs appointment soon...

After my c-section when my son was born i was on strong pain medication where i have developed a serious addiction in the last year. I am now working in quiting and i was just wondering if many other women have gone through the same thing. The meds gave me energy and relieved all the pains of being a new mom. As my son got older and bigger (1 year and 27lbs) i continued to take the medication. My husband had no clue and i finally told him last night. He is helping me, but i just want to know if i am the only mommy that has gone through this.
