I am 19 and I had a swollen lymph node under my arm, but I had a mammogram and I don't have breast cancer...what else could it be? I had no scratches or anything.

It could be that it is getting blocked by your anti-persperant. When the duct gets blocked it will swell.

If you had a good doctor he or she would of told you that it have nothing to do with breasts or possible cancer. Use a different deodorant, make sure if it is something very strong like lady speedstick or anything that guarantee protection for 24 hours then it dont contain talc in ingredients. Its is this nasty ingredient that got my lymph nodes swollen because once i was sweating the actual sweat wasnt coming out so it created a lot of back up. This back up wouldnt be able to come out because of those hardcore antiperspirants. So those back ups start swelling up. Make sure you ask your doc about this and if that is your case then he will prescribe you some inflammatory stuff and get you off deodorant for few days. Also personally i found one that fit me the most and since i been using it i havent had problems. Its Dove product with green tea and cucumber flavor. Good luck!

An infection in your body. Have you been sick recently? Your body is fighting some foreign thing. Do you have allergies?
